Accessibility

Citewick should be usable by as many readers as possible. We design for clarity, keyboard use, and readable type—not decorative obstacles.

What we aim for

  • Text contrast that meets everyday reading standards on light editorial backgrounds
  • Visible focus states for interactive controls
  • Keyboard access to primary navigation, search, and major product surfaces
  • Respect for `prefers-reduced-motion` where we use motion
  • Semantic headings and labels on forms (including newsletter and search)

Known patterns on Citewick

The public site uses a magazine layout with large display type, a command search (including ⌘K / Ctrl+K), Index tables, and embed iframes. We continue to harden these surfaces for assistive tech and small screens.

If you hit a barrier

Email editors@citewick.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. Include the page URL, your assistive setup if relevant, and what blocked you. We treat these reports as product defects.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time badge. As we ship Index, tools, and research features, we re-check contrast, focus order, and alternatives for media where we add them.
